Established in 2014, Sub Saharan Commodities initially traded high grade Eucalyptus Saligna products to wholesalers and manufacturers.
We have subsequently increased our portfolio to include Fuels and Chemicals, and have developed relationships with key suppliers and consumers within the industry which enable us to supply consumers nationally and internationally.

Jon Chetwynd-Palmer BA PGDip (Gibs)
Jon is a former British Army Officer and current entrepreneur. Following 10 years in the military, he entered the management consultancy realm where he specialised in Innovation, lean start up and startup and tech business development.

Following this, Jon was hired by a privately owned Oil Refinery in Gauteng as the national sales director where he maintains close ties and preferential supply agreements.
Michael John Damant BA LLB
Michael hails from the insurance industry and has a deep knowledge of the corporate environment.
He brings contract expertise, legal and insurance knowledge to the company to ensure that we are better able to meet our clients needs in all facets regarding delivery of products and services.
